Expedia saved my vacation! Went to the Hawaii Originally having booked a Helicopter flight thru Orbitz. Well what Orbitz didn't tell me was that the cheaper Heli flight I booked was 3 hours away from where I was staying, and it wouldn't have been so bad if I had a rental car to drive myself there, but I didn't.
I was trying to rent a car last minute but there were no cars available, so I was trying to fine ANY transportation since I was within the cancellation time.
They had an Expedia Desk at my Resort, and I asked the Expedia lady what she would do in my situation. She got on the phone with Blue Hawaiian Helicopters, and 10 minutes later had me on a helicopter flight I meant to book in the first place that was 45 minutes away and set up free transportation both ways which Orbitz NEVER MENTIONED. She did all this within the 24 hour cancellation time Orbitz said was set by the Heli company and their hands were tied.
The flight cost more but Expedia wasn't cancelling my reservation they upgraded it, and on my cc Orbitz put through the new charge. So they helped fix the mistake when I didn't even book with them!!! So I <3 Expedia they were super friendly and helpful
