I have used both and was disappointed with the quality of proflower products. They have a seven day guarantee but twice in the same month they delivered wilted and dying flowers to my family members. They were quick to give a refund, which I appreciate, but they have unfortunately lost a customer because of this.
I just received a bouquet from ProFlowers. Though they were ordered to come in a vase, they were in a box, that also had a vase.
They were shipped ground from California, whereas I'm in Texas.
Even in water, I doubt they will perk up.
ProFlowers sponsors Rush Limbaugh, and there is a boycott.

Proflowers offered 25% discount on their website so I thought I order from them this time instead of 1800flowers which I usually go with, and... they sent JUNK roses to my wife at her office for our anniversary! A dozen long stem roses, which was delivered in such a bad shape that they looked like they are 3+ days old! and two tiny stems of baby's breath? nothing like the ones in the picture they have on their website! so ridiculous!
The delivery fee was $12+ for the roses. I also wanted to order chocolate dipped strawberries along with the roses, but they were going to charge me additional $12 for delivery even though they are going to the same person at the same location on the same day!
I've made many orders from 1800flowers and they never disappointed me. I'm done with Proflowers.
ordered flowers for Saturday delivery on pro flowers. Delivery times stated they could be as late as 8 pm. 8pm NO FLOWERS!!! Called the 800 number. They could not even get the florist to answer. They at least refunded the 25 dollar delivery fee. Said they would contact the florist for delivery 1st thing Monday morning. Called Again at 230pm Monday. No Flowers. I was asked if I got an email stating that my flowers couldn't be delivered as previously requested. (?? 48 hers after they were supposed to have been there??) NO EMAIL regarding delivery, however 4 emails from pro flowers soliciting more orders. Was told they were scheduled for the next business day. Told them that was not acceptable, I wanted them there today or not at all. w

Always received great customer service, products arrive on time (usually) products are usually top notch.. never had a reason to try anyone else.
Proflowers took us for a ride and did not honor their own coupon code. Never had a problem with 1800flowers and used Proflowers by mistake and we'll pay for that mistake but never again. Called the company and were told there was nothing they could do once the order was placed. Never gave a total until the purchase was complete. Paid double what we expected!
Always get a closer representation of what I ordered from the picture. Proflowers has consistently lied and disappointed me and my recipients. Never again will I order from them!
What a complete farce the flower industry has become!!!! Neither company provides what they promised. Both are crooks! What happened to honest representation and value for the dollar spent? These people take your money and must be laughing at what they provide. Never again! I'm buying local and delivering my own, ASSEMBLED ALREADY!!!
