The Opteron processes the northbridge on native Server motherboard allowing a direct link for data to pass, Reduced Northbridge Bottleneck/Latnecy.

An Opteron to a traditional AM2+ board unlocks features missing like (overclocking + the processes of the northbridge which on some PC equate to well over 1 Ghz and 1Mb of unspoken cache.)

Have been overclocked to 11Ghz.
They run at lower idle temps than phenoms, Must I explain heat and longevity.

$Price is alright, Got mine in the uglyst case in a resale store they were STUPID wrong to sell it all lower than a 3800+ build...

(Dont be fooled The gaming instruction sets are all there to 4A)

STABLE, Designed for High uptime.

The opteron is native to a raid enviorment, A RAID enviorment should be native to all quad* cores. also I ACTUALLY SUGGEST 3 OR MORE DRIVES. My opteron opened up allot in raid.

Put a GT440 or GT450 on it. It plays all games 2011. O wait xbox 7 years old so this processor is still world mint.
