Their not selfish and really didn't do anything. The human society wanted this and they will keep going until they get it but the Na'vi fought to keep their descendants,ancestors safe and their beloved home, they may have lost the first time but they got through it. Even if he knew(Sully) that this was going to happen he had made a bond and became a part of The People. And in the end they had won, because they believed and weren't gunning to kill the humans but to keep eachother safe.
