I guess I mean freezing rain. It is impossible to drive in and most people go too fast and often get out of control.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Because with sleet, it's wet and it can freeze immediately on roads and windshields. Snow is driveable and can be very beautiful, just go slow. Hail is noisy but unless big, more of a nuisance.

It is easier to slide off the road and to run into other vehicles due to less traction. So please be careful and dont leave the house if u can help it at all :) Later.

Of the scariest drives of my life was in a construction zone on a freeway, sleet dumping down, in a two wheel drive vehicle. The lanes were small, there was tons of traffic, and you could hardly see, no matter how fast your windshield wipers went. It was awful.

I'm used to snow. For god's sake, I live in utah.
