LLBean - 31
My LL Bean outerwear has been consistently good. Regular clothing is hit or miss. My Patagonia experience has been disappointing to say the least. I like the style but the function sucks, especially for the price. I have one North Face piece and it is ok.
north face is being worn by every non thinking jacket wearer in the country. patagonia is a little expensive. ll bean, high quality at reasonable prices.
Best products for dollars spent.
Most familiar with LLBean - they have good stuff that lasts.
LLbean is the best as far as quality and value goes. They are not based on fads.
Like Patagonia, but LL Bean is a better deal, The North Face is worn by people who are sheep. Dressing like everybody else shows no sense of style.
It is a more general outdoor style
L.L. Bean lasts for a very long time, and every jacket I've owned from them has blocked wind for years until it's worn out.
Cheep
Bean makes a solid outdoor product at auchincloss better price point than the other two brands . I think you're paying for a name when you buy Patagucci or TNF.
Just love the quality of the products they make...lasts for life
more function than fashion.
it is the best!
Quality, wearablility, function, warranty, outdoor programs
they advertise the temp. readings of there clothing.100% guarantee and ship with return labels. No bullcrap on there 850 down fold lightweight. North don't come close them.
Great product
Love it
Just a blue collar product. Patagonia excellent product but way too expensive for working class folks.
The best
I really like ll bean and Patagonia, but if I had to choose one it would be ll bean.
I feel as if Patagonia has become wearing the label because it’s “expensive” rather than wearing it because you enjoy the outdoors. L.L. Bean is my style.
Just cuz
they tell you what temps in there catalogs your clothing is good for excellent return policy
An original, not a knockoff like Patagonia
Best style and quality, though all are good.
Price and quality
Brand loyalty
Great clothes at a fair price.
I think llbean's Made in USA boots really seal the deal for me. Great quality and is real outerwear for The Great North East!
I like L.L.Bean because of the material they use. ratings of L.L. bean are great. won't buy anything else
Have worn LLBEAN for years. Have been very satisfied with quality and durability.
North Face - 5

Patagonia - 14
the yuppies ruined for northface.....ugh!
Lots of field work, Patagonia is indescribably better built, lasts longer, is stronger, comfortable and performs (breathes, dries quick, keeps you warm) whatever the task. If you want function over fashion pick patagonia, **** if you want fashion better than all the rest... pick Patagonia.
Because I feel comfortable I helping the envionment too, giving back is important
Patagonia simply has higher quality materials in their gear. I've owned product from all 3. Patagonia hands down has the best product of the 3. Hands down. You pay a little bit more. But it's well worth it. The integrity of the product will be there years down the road. Plus their stuff does not go out of style. Lastly I like what they do in giving back to the environment financially, as well as, using recycled materials in making top line products. Patagonia is the winner.
Best quality out of the three
Pategonia has generously donated to help protect the outdoors while making great products.
Their the best...
The firtest with the mostest!
jkkk
Patagonia is a much better made product, and I would rather not be associated to the thugs who wear and advertise -
s
It's the most expensive but the lifetime warranty is unbeatable
Because I've had LL bean in the past and it fell apart immediately! I started buying Patagonia 3 years ago and none of the clothing has fallen apart. As for North Face, I think you are going to know what I'm about to say. It just plain SUCKS!!!!
After researching both brands & owning several articles of clothing; They seem a little more transparent concerning their footprint on the environment.
Patagonia is also the brand of choice among several people & owner’s of clothing companies. I own coats from Patagonia & The North Face.
