would my 1yr old staff x pit get along with a american bulldog puppy?
Female dogs tend to be more protective of their owners and do not like another dog around if they were there first.. Male puppies seem to get along with dogs they are unfamiliar with a lot quicker than females.. they're goofy and playful while the female is more reserved until she is around it often enough to get used to it and upen up.. but that's probably just certain breeds and certain personalities cause I know that is not always the case
Females, even if they are spayed, instinctively guard the pack for it's strengths. An older dog is considered a weak link in the hunt/protect mentality of a female.
