think i have chronic bronchitis
seems like bronchitis is the less severe of the two
It usually last 5-10 days, while asthma comes and goes based on long it takes to get the spasms undercontrol
Bacterial cause
In bronchitis this there is a infection going on and symptoms disappears in 10 day or longer
it can easily cured by antibiotics
bronchitis is inflammation of bronchi which can be easily treated whereas asthama is allergic condition which is difficult to treat .
It is non-chronic.
If treated early, the duration is shorter. Where as with asthma, you may have a reoccurance of an attack sooner due to triggers.
Asthma is often chrinic, and I myslef have asthma, and even after numerous steroid therapys and inhaler usage I still have it, although I have not had a flare up in many months.
Have bronchitis now. Never diagnosed with Asthma. I am a RN also.

It is an intermittent rather than chronic condition that resolves within a few days. It is inflammatory, where asthmas is bronchial spasms.
if it is bacterial an antibiotic can cure the problem, if viral it will run its course in a week or so. Asthma is a more chronic and reoccuring condition with factors that can exacerbate the condition
