there might be some animals that have more but there seem to be many animals whose structure, organs are simpler (like invertibrates) or less of them so since there are only 4 neucletides ther would be a finite number of sequences for differentiation of a cell's RNA. so it seemed logical that more complex animals would need more strands.
I do not actually know the answer I am just assuming it is because we are more complex organisms.
