Everyone's body is unique ... Levi's 501s shrink to fit which molds to your own body ... If you get the original STF 501s they will continue to mold to your body over time and they will leave a distintive fade that is uniquely yours ...

Fit, Feel, Look

I've been wearing them for years and even when they start to fall apart the arse is still a good fit. Wranglers keep their colour well but leave a lot of unnecessary space at the back.

Currently wearing a pair of gap jeans, fit tighter in the calves compared to my 513 Levis, also not quite as comfortable. Depending on how long they last, could be worth the 50% discount though.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Because I can
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Have worn 501's. since the 70's. The cut has changed over the yrs though. Gotten a tad bit pricey also.

Well the jeans are of the highest quality and indisputably their style sets apart from that of the market !

I haven't bought any other brand in decades!

gap seems to flare out at the hips (I'm a dude) which is not a great look. Gap does cuff better than levis thought and the fits are SOOOOO much easier to figure out/deal with.

levis are to loose in the rear
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
comfy!
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Wrangler makes the thick seams outside the leg rather than inside.
I don't like thick seams against my skin!
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
wrangler jeans just as good as levis and far more affordable in todays retail market.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
good value for the money, i can usually get two jeans for the price of one levi. plus they are very comfortable.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
It has a designer look , perfect fit and most appealing .
Little expensive but quality product.

Wranglers are the toughest... I own some Levi's and some Wranglers, and I'll say this - the Levi's 517s do look good with cowboy boots and when you want to be dressed up, they fit your boots better. But when you're on a horse or working in the mud and the brush, nothing moves with you quite like Wranglers - they still feel as sturdy as the day I bought them, but they're so comfortable it's like wearing sweatpants.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
They actally fit true to size. Unlike Levis

  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
I stopped buying Levi's 30 years ago as I had to try on 10 pairs (same size of course) to find 2 or 3 that fit me. Wranglers fit. Every time, every pair
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Great fit and value, worn them for years....MUCH cheaper than Levis
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago

  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Loose, not snug, leaves room for activity without binding, weight forgiving.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
they are designed for cowboys and to work in they are cut higher so they don't ride on your hips
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
great fit buy 3 pair for one of levi
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
They're not made in Egypt like my Levis
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago

They don't change for the sake of change or to be "cool". Their basic 13mwz is by far the best jean out, and not just for the money. $20-$25 for a pair just shows how badly every other jean company is ripping everyone off. Levi's may have been good at one point but they are unarguably absolutely garbage now. I don't even understand why Gap is in this comparison. Gap jeans?!? Really?
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Levi's wear out too quickly, Gap uses denim that feels rough to the touch.

Wrangler is jussssst right :^D
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
The 34 waist jean in their five star regular fit has worked well on me for years. Of course, that's my specific build...might be different on someone else.
Best clothing buy in America...some stores and direct from Wrangler for under $20 ! A pair lasts me years (not as hard on jeans as when I was a kid)
Maybe include Lee brand in this round up as well.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
levis are to tight in the inseam. wranglers have much more room.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
size is size, and relaxed is relaxed
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
I feel Wrangler is more durable and inexpensive than Levis. As long as you do not get into the Blue Bell Label from Wrangler.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Wrangler has a more consistent fit. Levis fit can be unpredictable regardless of the still. Levis use to tell you the weight of the denim but rare does now.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
not too loose, not too tight in the crotch

Gap - 5

petite section
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
Gap is constantly striving to create something better. The science of 'fit' is what they do best. New Head of Design Patrick Robinson has elevated Gap denim to the top tier. Gap jeans have style and personality. Levis appear generic in comparison. And Wra

I'm young and I like it.
  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago

  • Anonymous . 3+ yrs. ago
gap jeans are not cut as short in the inseam as levis or wrangler for the most part. It matters to me because I have a long torso but may not matter so much to most men
